Traveling in a land of mystery.

Our first step on our long journy together!  Here we stopped to admire the awsome view of this amazing bridge.

Bridge

The water was so clear, you could see the stones out for a couple of miles (litterally) and the sound was so soothing, it was like the ocean.  Swans were swiming out in the surf, and the sun was bright and warm.I was almost sad to leave that little rest area, but then we got to cross the bridge, and took shelter in a fort! We spoke with a crusty old blacksmith,

Blacksmith

and Josiah inlisted with the redcoats, but that’s okay, he’ll make 8 pence a day, though the king will want 6 of them back.  On the king’s birthday, they fired the cannon in our honor, and gosh darn it if every one we’ve met thus far can tell we’re honnymooning!!!!!

Cannon

But they say that it’s okay, it’ll fade after a year  or so? (we don’t think so….)

Well, breakfast is calling, and there’s a whole big wide tourist trap, I mean world, to explore!

Last day of work!

WoW!  Today’s my last day at my job here in Steven’s Point!  It’s also my last day living with my loving grandparents. *sad* It’s been such a great summer, I’m kinda sad to leave here. I just got done cleaning out my room, vacuuming, stripping the bed, turning it back into a futon (that thing is unexpectedly heavy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)  Took all my things out of it, down to the last role of duct tape, and it’s so empty. But then, it dosn’t look like I’ve never lived there, so it’s not heartbreaking. Something about it still feels familiar. ^.^

Work was….. boring. >.< I was so excited because I finally put a book on tape onto my mp3 player (lots of dinking around, but I gots it!!!!!!!!!!) and then I get to the worksite, get my paint can ready, got my brushes, told my co-worker that if I didn’t repley it’s because I’m listening to a book, and then! My battery is dead. *slump* not fair…. *sigh* Oh well. It was probubly good thing, though. People arn’t nice to my co-worker (he gets on my nerves, too sometimes) but I know I’m suposed to be nice, and putting my earphones in and turning them all the way up is just another way of blocking the world. (which isn’t a bad thing, but Jesus would want me to at least make an attempt to be kind, and so I did today.)

Wee~! I also got my employee eval today! And my letter of recomendation!  *eyes grow large and fingers twitch* I couldn’t ask for better!  I worked my rear off with those two documents on my horizon, striving as hard as i could for them!  I work hard normally, and I pushed myself harder at this job just for them! (And because I loved my job!) Yes~! Paper gold!  A wonderful evaluation and a glowing letter of recomendation!!! *feels the triumph of a race well run!* *takes a deep breath and smiles* At least I accomplished one of my pre-wedding goals. It feels good. I pray they help me get the right job up in MI.

Wow, a week from tomarrow, I’m a Mrs. CRAZY!!

Wow!

19 days until the wedding. I can’t help but sit back and blink a little, sitting here at home this monday night.

This last weekend was the weekend that we moved most of my stuff into the new house, and we moved Josiah into it. It was hard work, but a blast! My wonderful parents helped, but they had to go home saturday night. I stayed until monday morning. I slept at Josiah’s mom’s house, but sunday was all ours! I love our new house, it already feels like home, it really does! It was hard to leave this morning. That house got to feel so much like home this weekend, leaving at the end of the day to sleep elsewhere, and then leaving for my parent’s house this morning felt bizzar!

This week, and then the next, and I’m done with work. Wow, it’s hard to believe my life is changeing for good. But I’m getting more and more comfortable with it. I can see myself living in Michigan, and living with Josiah. I count myself blessed beyond measure to have such a wonderful man as not only my friend, but my soon to be husband. *shakes head in amazment* I’m lost for words!

There’s so much to do for the wedding, and so much is already done. *shakes head* And all I’m going to do tonight is make my lunch for tomarrow, and go to sleep. *laughs* Okies! Goodnight!
