Yay! We had a party for the fourth of july today! Well, okay, I know it’s the 5th of july, but that’s also my Grandpa’s B-day, and my brother’s B-day is the 4th, and my friend Katie’s B-day is the 6th, so it seemed a good day. (plus, it’s a saturday, can’t beat that!)
We had cake and ice cream first, and then dinner, which was awsome, and then we played games and had card tricks and stuff, which was nice. And then, after almost everyone went home, we had an awsome waterfight. All sorts of water guns, water balloons, and just plain buckets of water! *grins* My hair is still drying!
I wish Josiah could have been there, but he couldn’t come this 4th of July weekend, and I couldn’t go up there this year, so oh well. It sucks, but I don’t think I’m going to get to see him until the 18th of July, which is harsh, but I guess that’s life, neh?
Oh! We went house hunting and found the one we want! Now all we have to do is figure out how to get the loan for it! I really pray hard that it goes smoothly, because I have my heart set on that house. But, hey, if we end up renting, it’s not the end of the world, it’ll just seem like it.
